One Project A Month Finish

My only completed (pieced, quilted, and bound) finish for June is this Button-Up wallhanging designed by Joined at the Hip.  I'm entering this in the "One Project a Month" with Peg at Happy in Quilting.

I love seasonal wallhangings and quilts.  There are 12 wallhangings in this series.  I have March, June, July, and October completed.  November's top is finished.  I have January's cut and ready to piece.  August is on my cutting table.

Maybe I should work on December's for Christmas in July!

Have a great day!

My May "One Project A Month" Finish

I have joined Peg and Kris in their One Project a Month Challenge.  Our quilting  projects must be fully completed (quilted and bound) before they are considered finished.

This month I finished my Personality Plus quilt designed by Sandy Gervais.

I used a Fig Tree layer cake (I think it is Breakfast at Tiffany's) and a dark brown for contrast.  I was trying to find a fabric line to match a particular color of blue that I was painting my office.  This one was perfect.  I painted my office (a year ago), and it has been waiting patiently for the quilt.  This pattern  would be pretty made of scraps, or any fabric theme such as fruits and vegetables, bugs, patriotic, civil war prints, 30's prints, Christmas, Halloween...you name it, and it would be perfect.

The quilt was quilted by my best friend, Terry, on her Gammill long arm quilting machine.

Terry makes my quilts gorgeous with her free motion quilting.

I love these challenges to help motivate me to finish things.
