For months (well, ever since I have started blogging) I have tried to figure out how to make a blog header. Over the holiday, I finally figured it out!
The picture is of my furniture on my outdoor patio. This is where I sit a read quilting magazines to get inspired.
I found this "tomato pincushion looking" cactus at Walmart and just had to have it. Then I saw the aqua planter and had to have that, too. Two of my favorite magazines are sitting on the table. Both of them are special editions from the editors of American Patchwork and Quilting. One is "Quilt Sampler" where they list the top ten quilt shops in the country, and the other one is "Quilts and More" which is filled with adorable projects. The quilt on the front of "Quilts and More" was designed and made by our ever popular bloggy friend, Monica!
For this time of year I don't get to sit out on my patio drinking lemonade and reading quilting magazines. However, it sure is fun to look at!

ReplyDeleteBTW... I love that mag you're reading there! ;-)
I just found your blog from Judy L's site and have enjoyed reading about your family and quilts. Now that you know how to do it, can you explain to me how to make the blog header? I haven't had any luck doing it.
