Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!

After the quilt show, for some odd reason I was in the mood to sew! Go figure!!! lol

Whatever I made, I knew it had to be something quick and something that I could quilt myself. I guess you could say that I needed some instant gratification. I looked through my books and magazines, and decided on this cutie I found in Pat Sloan's book Quilt the Seasons. I can either use it as a tablerunner or a wallhanging. I don't know about you, but I think this would be cute on my kitchen table all summer!

Have a safe holiday, and please keep our service men and women in your prayers every day!

  1. So..how was the quilt show? I keep looking every day to see if you've posted a report yet. The watermelon runner is adorable (as I told you on Pat Sloan's message board) but I'm really wanting to hear about your show!!! :)

  6. Amanda,
I really enjoy your blog. Went back to when you first started blogging and reading about your excitement at blogging is what I feel myself. I just started blogging this past Memorial Day and it is so much fun! I added you to my blog as one of the "blogs that make me smile". I will come back and read more. You are a very good quilter and speedy, too! That watermelon tablerunner (perfect on the table like you said) is great!
