Happy New Year!!!

Wow! It's been over a month since I have posted on my blog.

I have been a busy little quilter, a busy little Christmas shopper, a busy little Christmas decorator, and a busy little traveler. All of these things added together have made me a not so busy little blogger! There just hasn't been time!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I have lots of pictures to post of quilts that I made at the retreat I went on, Christmas presents I gave, and so much more. I don't have time to post them now, but I will some time this week.

We got back from our vacation yesterday. It was great to see our families. We haven't been home to LA in 4 years. My husband and two of our children went. My son hasn't changed that much, but my youngest daughter has. She was in the 5th grade the last time we were home, and now she is tall and a Freshman in High School.

Over at Pat Sloan's blog she is asking what New Year's traditions everyone has. Ours is usually taking it easy, and eating black eyed peas. Today we had the kids and grandkids over for black eyed peas, spiral ham, and cornbread. When we lived in PA we had pork and sauerkraut. That was good, too. What's your New Year's Tradition?

Happy New Year everyone!
