Isn't it adorable? The loop just makes it, doesn't it? Oh. Don't you see it? It's there; I promise! It's the one that looks so perfect and beautiful! The tie is sort of in the way, but if it weren't for the little loop, there would be no place to tie the little bow that I turned using my new "turn a tube" method.
Kim first posted about this little bag. Then Nancy posted about making one for her sister. The pattern is here if you would like to make one. It's really quick to make, especially now since I gave you the website where you, too, can learn to turn a tube, even if it is really little. (See the post below this one).
I thought these little bags were cute, so I decided to make some for my friends when we go to Paducah to the American Quilters Society Quilt Show at the end of this month. Three ladies, who Terry and I call The Triplets because they have been friends for so long they look alike, have asked Terry, Julie, and I to stay with them in Paducah. Sharon always has treat bags for her friends, and, although I always give fat quarters for gifts, I thought little bags filled with treats would be cuter especially since they have invited me to spend 2 nights and 3 days with them! Terry,Julie,and I always go for the day and come home late the same night. Now we will be able to shop at the show, browse the antique stores downtown, see Eleanor Burn's show, and not be so hurried going through everything!
I haven't decided what I am going to fill the little bags with, but whatever it is it's gotta be good so they will ask me again next year!
Before I forget, Judy is hosting another quilt along this coming weekend. I haven't quite decided what I am going to work on, but I have plenty to do!

Your bag is adorable. Aren't they fun to make? You need to add hand lotion cause handleing all that fabric will dry your hands, and socks for running around the hotel room, and some of those little packages of kool-aid stuff to add to their water and CHOCOLATE!!!
